The struggle is real for us dark girls/women to find the correct shade of foundation in your skin tone, especially when you go out looking for your make up in shops, for example Boots. I never see my foundation colour anywhere, it's struggle, like I said earlier, but, I think I may have found the solution, I found a certain make up brand, which is more or less likely to be aimed for dark skin, which is the brand, Covergirl: Queen Collection.

This foundation has many different shades which will most definitely match many dark skin tones. The foundation, as it says is a 3- in- 1, includes powder, concealer and foundation, which provides a flawless look, lasting all day.

This pressed powder is the item that I own, and I love. It does exactly as it says, giving you a natural look with an even coverage, with a controlling shine. This matte pressed powder is just perfect to use for those lazy days you don't feel like using foundation, the powder will give you a natural look, but make you look as if you have put a lot of effort into your make up.
Another make up brand that us dark skin girls/women can benefit from, is Bare Minerals foundation and powder. Since most of us should have heard that Bare Minerals can blend in with your skin tone straight away, withough having to chose a shade, which is why I would go for Bare Minerals for dark skin.
This foundation gives you an adjustable coverage and a natural finish, as it has an ultra- thin, skin perfecting fluid. Hearing from the reviews, this product seems to be really good, especially for those who want a more natural look.
This pressed powder Foundation help absorb excess oil, and control shine for a natural matte finish, it also minimizes the appearance of pores, and provides you with a much fresher, smooth looking skin. This product is great for those with an oily complexation, giving them at least a controlled shine.
Hopefully this post has helped you guys in finding the correct make up brand for dark skin, as soon as I found out about this make up brand, I had to try the matte pressed powder, which is now my favourite pressed powder, hopefully will be the same for you guys if you decide to buy any of there make up.
